Thesis under joint supervision with foreign universities

It is possible to develop the doctoral thesis under joint supervision with a foreign university with the purpose of obtaining a PhD recognition from both Universities. This requires the mobility of the doctoral students between both universities with a minimum stay of 9 months in each University. The thesis will be defended once in any of the Universities, but the student must be enrolled in both institutions. The thesis must be submitted and accepted for publication in both Universities.

To do this, the University of Oviedo and the foreign University have to sign a specific agreement. The proposal of signing an agreement has to come from the body responsible for the programme and be submitted to the PhD Committee for its approval.
